European Renewable Energy Policy Research
Client: Heinrich Böll Foundation North America, Washington, DC
Conducting research on renewable energy policy in Europe, with a focus on feed-in tariffs and renewable portfolio standards, and exploring the feasibility of creating hybrid policies for the United States. Prepared a report sponsored by the Heinrich Böll Foundation, and presented findings at conferences and workshops hosted by the California Energy Commission, the Clean Energy States Alliance, the Interstate Renewable Energy Council, the American Solar Energy Society, the American Wind Energy Association, and the German Marshall Fund for the United States.



Database of State Incentives for Renewables and Efficiency (DSIRE)
Client: North Carolina Solar Center, Raleigh, NC
Working with North Carolina Solar Center to maintain and update a database of federal, state, and local policy incentives for renewable energy and energy efficiency. Responsible for maintaining records of renewable portfolio standard and public benefit funds policies. See www.dsireusa.org.



New York City Solar Energy Policy Research
Client: CUNY Million Solar Roofs Initiative, New York, NY
Conducted a comprehensive survey federal, state, and local policies impacting solar market development in New York City and created market growth scenarios. Identified financial, regulatory, and technical barriers to solar energy market growth, and presented policy recommendations to state and city decision makers. A final report for the project can be downloaded here.
